I took these photos on the evening of July 22 while I was traveling along the Intracoastal Waterway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I always take rainbows as a sign, but I had to wonder a sign of what?
Off in the distance, I noticed what appeared to be a rainbow in the center of the clouds just below the sun shining through.

Traveling nearer to the shoreline, I saw this. I had never seen anything like it before.

Once I was through marveling at this beauty in nature, this is the end result. I tweaked a little of this in Photoshop, just dodging the darker areas of the water. It appears to have a rainbow effect.
